A retired science teacher with 31 years of experience, I now channel my passion for discovery and creativity into my handcrafted jewelry business. Based in Ventura, CA, I live with my husband, Mark, and our two beloved cats, Luna and Bagel. How it’s Made
I bought these orange and blue dyed Ocean Jade beads simply because I loved the striking contrast of the colors—no specific project in mind, which is pretty typical for how I collect materials. The colors reminded me of the blue of the ocean and the vibrant orange of coral. Later, when I purchased some stainless steel ocean-themed charms, I knew right away these beads would be the perfect match for some dainty earrings.
